This session is designed for facilitators ready to elevate their skills in managing large-group training sessions with 80-500 participants. Participants will gain insights into pre-planning, managing codes and handouts, how to adapt slides, planning the logistics, and engaging activities.
Outcomes
- Develop a detailed pre-event checklist that ensures you are asking the right questions of the organizer so you are not surprised when you arrive.
- Adapt your slides, handouts, and codes code distribution for a larger audience.
- Utilize interactive methods and activities to maintain high energy levels and foster active participation.
- Have a plan for all the possible ways the session could go off the rails.
About our guest
Dr. Jennifer Selke is a UC Berkeley-trained educational psychologist and retired faculty member specializing in large-group facilitation and neuro-divergent youth. She spent 27 years as director of a large summer day camp where CliftonStrengths was fully integrated. Jennifer now works for Camp Southern Ground, a non-profit founded by musician Zac Brown. She teaches CliftonStrengths workshops for transitioning military service members and runs a posttraumatic growth program training warriors to thrive in the aftermath of trauma.
